This is such a beautiful composition. You see only part of the dogs face and hardly any of the dogs body, it gives the piece a sense of longing since you can't see those things and you can't see the dogs eyes. The texture of the dalmation's fur stands out so well against the black of the background. This really is a beautiful portrait!
